Frequently asked questions about label printers
Which label printer do I need?
Choose by volume and location: mobile printers for printing on the move, desktop printers for low to medium volumes at workstations, and industrial printers for high volumes and continuous use in production and distribution centres.
What is the difference between direct thermal and thermal transfer?
Direct thermal printing needs no ribbon and suits short-life labels such as shipping labels. Thermal transfer uses a ribbon and produces labels that withstand light, heat, abrasion and chemicals for longer.
Do you offer RFID printers?
Yes. RFID versions are available for example for the Zebra ZQ511, ZD621 and ZT411. Ask us which model and RFID labels suit your application.
Do you supply labels and ribbons?
Yes. We supply genuine Zebra labels, tags and ribbons as well as custom labels for Zebra and Honeywell printers.
Do you maintain and repair printers?
Yes. Our repair center performs manufacturer-certified repairs, and OptiCare service contracts and leasing are available.
